Our Basic Instinct tells us that Sharon Stone is still a Stone cold fox!
The 56-year-old actress is the covergirl for the May 2014 issue of GQ Italia, and she steams up the cover in a black bodysuit that alternates with lace and mesh. The striking portrait was shot by photographer Karl Simone.
Sharon was a screen siren during the '90s — with movies like Total Recall and Casino and, of course, that leg-uncrossing-and-crossing moment in Basic Instinct — but she fell off our radar for the past decade or so, opting for sporadic and low-profile film roles.
Now she's getting back into the swing of things, though — with gigs in big movies like Mother's Day and American Ultra and a lead role as the Vice President in the TNT drama Agent X.
"Look at me!" the Italian text on the cover reads. "I am 56 years old, I still vamp for GQ, and I'm single with three children. Never been better."
We assume that "quote" was the work of a GQ editor — but hey, if Sharon is as happy as the cover says she is, more power to her. Glad to have her back!
