After an offensive Halloween, blackface incidents are still popping up. An editor at French Elle dressed up as Solange Knowles, painting her face with brown makeup and wearing a black afro wig for an event, then posted the photo to Instagram. After uproar over the photo, she apologized and said she “didn’t realize the seriousness” of her action. “I deeply regret and would like to present all my apologies,” she tweeted.
