Photos & Videos: Footballer Diogo Jota & his brother, André Silva tragically die in car crash this morning

Liverpool and Portugal footballer Diogo Jota tragically passed away in a car crash in Spain along with his brother, André Silva early morning of today, Thursday.

The accident occurred near Cernadilla just days after his wedding. His Lamborghini was found completely destroyed following the high speed collision. 

Cristiano Ronaldo has already paid his tributes on his own IG page, writing: 

“This doesn’t make any sense. Just now we were together with the National Team, just now you were married. To your family, to your wife and to your children I send my condolences and I wish them all the strength in the world. I know you will always be with them. RIP Diogo Jota. We will all miss you.”

Diogo Jota’s final Instagram post was a video from his wedding to his childhood sweetheart Rute Cardoso, who he married only two weeks ago. 

Jota captioned the video “A day we will never forget”.
