Olympic gymnast Simone Biles' brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas arrested, charged with murder of 3 people

The brother of Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles has been charged with murder over a shooting that left three people dead at a New Year’s Eve party.
Tevin Biles-Thomas, 24, was arrested after a police investigation identified him as a shooter in the incident which took place in Cleveland, Ohio.
The deaths occurred after an altercation when an uninvited group of people turned up at a party on December 31 2018. The killings happened around 30 minutes before midnight. DelVaunte Johnson, 19, Toshaun Banks, 21, and Devaughn Gibson, 23, all died from the shooting. Several party attendees fled the scene. Ms Biles is one of the world’s best known gymnasts and at 22 already has four Olympic gold medals, all from the 2016 Rio de Janeiro games.
The news website Cleveland.com first reported the family connection between Biles-Thomas and Ms Biles. It was then widely reported in US media.
