#Ramadan 2018 dates in Dubai confirmed by UAE officials

The dates for Ramadan in the UAE have been officially confirmed following a meeting of the moon-sighting committee yesterday evening.
The important period will officially begin on Thursday May 17.
The committee met after the Maghrib prayer just after sunset at the Judiciary Department in Abu Dhabi.
Confirmed by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, working hours for the Private Sector will be reduced by two hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Government employment (Public Sector) hours were previously announced as 9am to 2pm.
