New PHOTOS of little boy who became a symbol of Aleppo's struggle

When Omran Daqneesh's photograph was beamed around the world, it became a haunting image of the brutality of the Assad regime and the suffering of children in Syria.
A picture of Omar in the back of an ambulance, blood caking his face and his body covered with masonry dust following an air strike, garnered international attention last year.
But now new pictures have emerged of the five-year-old from Aleppo, showing him fit and healthy with his family.
Kinana Allouche posted a picture of herself interviewing the Daqneesh's, who have so far refused to speak to the media out of fear
The five-year-old appears fit and well despite the horrific air strike which reduced his home to rubble and killed his brother last year

In new pictures taken from interviews with his family this week, Omar can be seen sitting on his father's knee at their home
His family was interviewed in Aleppo by Al-Mayadeen, a Lebanese television station supportive of the Assad regime
