Amata and Olateru-Olagbegi were announced at the unveiling of the 2014 nominees of the awards in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
“It’s an honour to have been found worthy of compering the 2014 BON Awards ceremony alongside a delectable OAP, Gbemi. I look forward to putting in my best at the ceremony,” an excited Amata said.
Speaking of the awards, Seun Oloketuyi, executive producer, BON Awards said for the past six years, the Best of Nollywood Awards has been putting a golden seal of excellence on Nigerian movies and the brains behind them.
“Every year has come with its own drama and surprises but we have remained steadfast in our set mission to reward creativity, enterprise and excellence in our beloved industry. That is why for hardworking Nollywood stars and stakeholders, today is a day of reckoning,” he said.
The awards ceremony will hold at Dr. Obi Wali Centre in Port Harcourt in 4 October 2014.
