According to Los Angeles paparazzi, David Beckham left two of his children—Cruz, 9, and Romeo, 11—unattended in a hot SUV for over an hour in scalding 30 degree heat while the 37-year-old soccer legend went to a spinning class. "No one could believe what Beckham was doing," a paparazzo told gossip site X17. "Some guys even stopped taking pictures and were just standing there, shocked."

But what the paparazzi neglected to mention is that Beckham, who has an estimated net worth of about $300 million, can afford air conditioning and a nanny. "It is complete lunacy to insinuate David would leave his kids in the car like that," Beckham's rep reported. "There was a nanny and air conditioning. You have to be very wary of paparazzi making these assertions to create a story when there isn't one."

After the spinning class, Beckham and his sons attended the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards (NKCSA), where they were drenched in gold slime. In the off-chance that the SUV's air conditioning wasn't adequately strong, this should have been more than enough to cool them all down.
