Photos: OJB marks 48th birthday, launches kidney foundation

Singer and music producer who recently survived a kidney transplant operation celebrated his 48th birthday in Sheraton Hotel, Lagos and also used the opportunity to launch his foundation, OJB foundation, where he hopes to help those in need of kidney transplants. Speaking at the ceremony, OJB thanked those who came to celebrate with him and called for support towards his foundation, which he says was set up to cater for people with kidney related ailments.
“After surviving the major operation, I thought of how to give back to the society, and this is one of the ways I would love to do that. I want you all to help make this dream come true,” he said.
Aside his wife and children, Kenny Ogungbe, Okey Bakasi and Joe-El were also there to celebrate with him.
Popularly referred to as Jigga, OJB is a singer cum producer and has worked with artists like 2face Idibia, Sound Sultan, Wizkid and Essence. His popular tracks include ‘Pretete’, ‘Searching’ and ‘Jah is My Light’
