Photos: New Mercedes-Benz C-Class unveiled in Dubai

The premium medium-size saloon features a new centre console and three different design and equipment options for the exterior and interior.
The C-Class is 95mm longer and 40m wider than is predecessor, while the body is lighter. The new model also boasts a brand new range of engines, which are more fuel efficient.
Other upgrades include standard-fit H7 halogen headlamps as well as two energy-saving LED variants.
Another feature is that the touchpad allows letters, numbers and special characters to be handwritten in any language supported by Audio 20 or COMAND Online. It also supports Arabic.
A head-up display is also new to the C-Class, displaying information directly in the driver’s field of vision on the front windscreen.
Wassim Derbi, marketing manager for Gargash Enterprises, said: “The all new C-Class incorporates many assistance systems with a range of enhanced functions. While it may have the designing, safety and technology features of Mercedes-Benz’s luxury large sedan, it stands alone as a vibrant character.
“Personifying the contemporary automotive luxury by the Mercedes-Benz brand, the C-Class has all the prerequisites to be a huge success.”
Gargash Enterprises has introduced C200 and C250 in the Dubai market. The latter produces 211bhp, compared to the 204bhp of the old model. Gargash Enterprises has been the authorized General Distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates since 1958.
