President Goodluck Jonathan cancelled his proposed trip to Ibadan, Oyo State and visited the Abuja Nyanya Motor Park bomb site. According to Yvonne Ndege, one of the reporters there, "President Jonathan said "We will get over it"",  IT referring to Boko Haram.

Official death toll at the moment stands at 71.
