New cabin crew members undergo a seven-week training programme conducted at Etihad Airways’ training academy in Abu Dhabi. Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad Airways’ Vice President Guest Services, said, "To support the rapid, dynamic expansion of Etihad Airways, we are delighted to host our recruitment drive in the United Kingdom, a key market for the airline.
"We hope to attract and recruit individuals who are incredibly passionate and dedicated to deliver remarkable hospitality. "Our team hails from more than 110 nationalities and enjoys great career development opportunities commencing as cabin crew, an inflight chef or food and beverage manager and progressing to onboard leadership and management roles," Ms. Tiedt said.
Nearly 1,222 British nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 688 core staff, 367 cabin crew and 167 pilots. Etihad Airways currently has a three-times-a-day service to London Heathrow and twice daily flights to Manchester from its Abu Dhabi hub.
