Nigerian rap star M.I has offered a heartfelt and sincere apology to his fans for delaying the release of his third album which is more than highly anticipated by his loyal fans. The artiste sais; “I’m really sorry about the delay. There were a number of issues I needed to sort out and it was a question of choice.”
According to him, the album will drop sooner than many expect, and he promised that once released, it will no doubt blow his loyal fans’ mind. Also commenting on the state of Nigeria’s hip-hop industry, M.I, acknowledged the contribution of Olamide, Phyno and Ice Prince, the trio who he described as the future of hip hop. The rapper affirmed that the young rappers have evolved from a long generation of artistes (Eedris Abdulkareem, Eldee, Modenine, Ruggedman, Killz, IllBliss and Dagrin) who have made a lot of difference in the Nigerian music industry.
