In fact, there are some technical loopholes capable of derailing even the most pure-hearted of nuptial-minded couples. The biggest potential glitch? According to the government's website, the ceremony must be performed in a city or town, "in which one of the parties to be married has resided for at least 40 days preceding the marriage."
Just to hit the point home, the law also adds, "These requirements cannot be waived."
So long story short, either Kim or Kanye need to A) own property in France, and B) prove they've actually lived at this property for a period of time.
A tall order? Perhaps. On the plus side, Kanye is said to own a luxury Paris apartment. The question is, can he convince local authorities of this fact before next month's wedding? Time will tell!
