News: Drug Peddler Caught In Saudi Airport

Customs officers at King Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah foiled an attempt to smuggle 45,306 narcotic pills into the Kingdom. A passenger arriving from Jordan tried to smuggle the pills by hiding them inside empty packs of coffee and candy. The passenger denied that he knew the content of the packs and that his brother, who works in the Kingdom, asked him to pick up these packs from a friend in Jordan and bring them with him into the country. The pills were seized and the passenger was referred to concerned bodies for further investigation.
