News: Amnesty Programme: FG has abandoned us- Nigerian students in UK send SOS to Jonathan

Students from various universities, particularly from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, lamented that they hadn't received their allowances since December 2013, adding that their living condition is very bad. Referring to their last possibility, they sent an SOS letter directly to President Goodluck Jonathan describing the problems and challenges they are facing. Under the programme terms, each student was also promised to have annual visit to Nigeria sponsored by the Presidential Amnesty Office.
After sending several letters to the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Kingsley Kuku, and not receiving any response, they accused the official of not caring about the "social being of the students they look after". "We, hereby, cry to the Federal Government of Nigeria to appoint people who can see the job as a service to the nation."
