Ultra super mega star, Akon who started his project Lighting Africa a few days ago, shared his photos in Conakry Guinea looking dapper in suit! Born Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Bongo Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam in St. Louis to Senegalese parents, Akon for short, still refers to Senegal as "home"!
At age 7, he moved with his family to Union City, New Jersey and the rest is now history!!
As a 41 year old muslim, he claims he has NEVER never drunk alcohol or smoked.
Akon is really worthy of emulation: Making Africa proud and making the world proud too with his unique voice and lovely music.
