News, Photos & Video: Horrifying Selfie saves battered woman after she posts photo on FB


Yesterday, Thur Jan.2, a Kentucky woman posted a distressing, bloody selfie to Facebook with a simple plea: "Help please anyone."
Susann Stacy said that her husband beat her mercilessly with a handgun before tearing their landline phone from the wall of their Leslie County, Ky., home, local station WKYT reported.
Stacy had no cellphone reception in their home either, and thus. no way to dial 911. So she turned to Facebook to get the word out.
"Several lacerations to the head," Mullins said. "They appeared to be bad but we really couldn't tell at the time, due to her hair was matted to her, and the blood."
By the time police arrived, the woman's husband, Donnie Stacy, had already fled the house, but officers found him nearby and arrested him, according to WKYT.


 Susann Stacy of Leslie County, Ky., used her Facebook page — which is under the name “Susann Miller” — to reach out for help after she was allegedly badly beaten by her husband.

The home where Susann Stacy’s husband allegedly ripped the landline telephone out of the wall and where the Kentucky woman couldn’t get cellphone reception.

Donnie Stacy allegedly beat his wife, prompting her to post a photo on Facebook in a desparate attempt to get help.

Susann Stacy, whose facebook page is under the name ‘Susann Miller,’ further explains why she had to post the distressing selfie.
