News: World's largest assembly of carol singers gather in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria

       

The Akwa Ibom State Government Christmas Carol, described as the biggest Christmas Party in West Africa and the largest gathering of carol singers in the world, held on Saturday December 21st at the Uyo Township Stadium. The event saw a gathering of 10,000 carol singers and top artists. All-expenses-paid trip by the Akwa Ibom state government for over 50,000 delegates, many of whom were from different parts of the world. Was this a waste of government money or was it necessary?
