Graphic Photos: Emirates cabin crew falls from open door on flight from Entebbe to Dubai

A member of Emirates cabin crew fell from an open door right before departure.

Flight EK729 was departing from Entebbe International Airport, Uganda to Dubai on Wednesday when the incident took place. The woman, who has not been identified, was immediately transferred to Kisubi Hospital, where she is reportedly seriously injured.

Emirates has released a statement:

“We can confirm that a member of our cabin crew unfortunately fell off from an open door while preparing the aircraft for boarding on flight EK729 from Entebbe on 14 March. The injured crew member was brought to the nearest hospital. We are providing all possible support and care for the affected crew, and will extend our full co-operation to the authorities in their investigation.”
