Photos: 2Face Idibia Leads "Election No Be War" Campaign

2Face Idibia today launched his foundation's anti-electoral violence campaign today tagged “Vote Not Fight” and “Election no be War” Campaign, as part of his efforts toward lending his voice to issues of voter awareness.
In his remarks 2Face Idibia said that the campaign was born “out of love and the desire to have one Nigeria, a Nigeria of our dream.” He observed that “most of the time the youth are the people used for violence and the only time dey no dey use the youth na wen dey wan chop the money, but for every other destructive aspects it’s the youth that they use.” 
“This whole idea is to sensitize the youths and get them involved,” he said.
The highlight of the launch was the official debut of the "VOTE NOT FIGHT" campaign pledge by the music icon himself as well as Mrs. Yemisi Ransome Kuti and Yemi Adamolekun of the Enough is Enough Nigeria.
Other speakers at the event included Efe Omorogbe, and Kingsley.
The voter education campaign is aimed at promoting peaceful participation by Nigerian youth in the 2015 elections. The campaign seeks to encourage youth to make a commitment to shun violence and embrace peace.
