News: Reason Super Eagles refused to train ahead of Sudan match in Khartoum

The Super Eagles were unable to train at the Khartoum International Stadium on Friday, because the pitch had become waterlogged.
Nigeria will face the hosts at the same venue today, Saturday October 11, in a crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, but their preparations took a hit, when they were denied access to train.
The team’s media officer Ben Alaiya, revealed that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials, have informed CAF about the incident, but stated that the squad members were not bothered by the schemings of their hosts.
Alaiya also said that the Eagles were now training at the FIFA Technical Centre in Khartoum.
Nigeria will be going all out for a win on Saturday. The African champions have just one point from their first two matches and sit third in their group.
