News: Just in: Shooting reported at mall, 3 feared dead

A gunman opened fire at a shopping mall in Columbia, Md., near Baltimore today Sat. Jan 25.
"There has been a shooting incident at the Columbia mall. No additional details yet," Howard County Police wrote in a tweet at 11:50 a.m. Saturday.
Howard County Fire and Emergency Management Services wrote in a tweet that emergency personnel and police were on the scene. In a separate tweet, they urged people to stay away from the area.
A man whose daughter was in the mall told NBCWashington.com that she told him over the phone that she was taking shelter inside of a Bank of America inside the mall with dozens of others.
A security spokesman at the mall told NBC News that “the situation may be over,” adding that the mall was closed. Three have been confirmed dead including the shooter.
