News: Jay Z & Beyonce Cover Billboard's 2014 "Power 100" Issue, Rank No.1

Beyonce and Jay Z rank Number 1 on Billboard's 2014 "Power 100" list. Billboard has released its 2014 "Power 100" list, and perhaps unsurprisingly, Jay Z and Beyonce were given the Number 1 spot on this list. This comes after the power couple earned the Number 1 spot of Forbes' Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples list. Obviously money and power are connected. Billboard explains their reasoning for tapping Jay and Bey as Number 1 on the list; they both had extremely successful years providing music to their fans in unique ways. Billboard says, "With two groundbreaking releases they focused fans on music and the business on radical new ways of delivering it." The Number 2 spot goes to Lucian Grange, who is the Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Group. The list is littered with high-up industry executives, this actually is not an artist-focused list.
