Woman in France scammed out of €830,000 after believing she was in a relationship with Brad Pitt

A French woman who thought she was in an online relationship with the real Brad Pitt, scammed out of €830,000: The full story.

A 53-year-old French woman named Anne was deceived into believing she was in a romantic relationship with Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. 

Anne’s problems started when she was contacted on social media by someone claiming to be Brad Pitt’s mother, saying she was looking for a partner for her son. 

This online conversation led to direct communication with an individual posing as Brad Pitt. 

Rapidly he started sending her love poems and fake images to gain her trust. 

The impostor made up a story about suffering from kidney cancer and needing money for a transplant, claiming his assets were frozen due to legal disagreements with his ex-partner, Angelina Jolie. 

Convinced of the authenticity of the relationship, Anne separated from her millionaire husband and provided the scammer with a huge financial support, totaling €830,000. 

The fake romance went on for 18 months, ruining not only her finances but also her relationships with her daughter and other close family members. 

When she finally realized it was a fraud, she fell into a deep depression. 

-She also lost her home and is now staying at a friend’s house. 

A fundraising campaign has been initiated to assist her in securing legal representation.
