Dennis Rodman isn’t having the best month after his spastic CNN interview from North Korea. The former NBA superstar later blamed alcohol for his outburst.
According to TMZ, the NBA Championship winner has checked into rehab for alcohol on the heels of his North Korea trip. Sources close to the Hall of Famer claims he’s checked into a New Jersey rehab center a few days ago.
Apparently Rodman, 52, is “beyond exhausted and overwhelmed” and will be in treatment for 30 days.
Rodman is no stranger to rehab for substance abuse. In 2008 he checked into a Florida rehabilitation center and in 2009 he appeared on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab.”
In September the news broke of Rodman’s plan to co-write a book with North Korea’s leaderKim Jong-un. As a favor to Jong-un he's also training North Korea’s basketball team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
