Photos: Sutherland Springs church, Texas opens for the first time since the massacre

The small-town Texas church where 26 people were massacred has been cleaned out and painted completely white in a chilling tribute to the shooting victims.

A temporary memorial opened on Sunday inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs - exactly a week after the gunman stormed in and unleashed the worst mass shooting in Texas' history. The inside of the church has been transformed with its walls, floor and pulpit painted completely white. Broken windows and ceiling tiles have been replaced and bullet holes filled. The church's pews, the carpet and all equipment have been removed.
