7th woman to accuse ex-president George H.W Bush of inappropriate grabbing

Another woman has publicly accused former President George H.W. Bush of groping her—and this time, the alleged incident occurred when he was president, CNN reported Thursday.
A Michigan woman said Bush grabbed her buttocks at a fundraising event for his presidential re-election in April 1992. “We got closer together for a family photo and it was like ‘Holy crap!’” she said. “It was like a gentle squeeze.” She said at the time she thought “it was probably an accident.” She is the seventh woman to accuse the former president of such grabbing, including one woman who said she was 16 years old at the time. A Bush spokesperson apologized last month after first being accused of groping actress Heather Lind, saying that the former president’s “arm falls on the lower waist of people with whom he takes pictures” because he is now in a wheelchair. “To try to put people at ease, the president routinely tells the same joke—and on occasion, he has patted women’s rears in what he intended to be a good-natured manner.” Bush did not use a wheelchair during his presidency.
