Photos: Car bombs in Damascus, Syria kill 18 people

At least 18 people were killed in Damascus, Syria, on Sunday when a suspected car bomber blew himself up while he was being pursued by police forces, according to Syrian state media and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Three car bombers in total were pursued, with two blowing themselves up on the outskirts of the city and one reaching the city. The SOHR said seven of those killed were members of pro-Syrian regime forces, while two were civilians.
